The department of hair dressing and beauty therapy is the Centre of excellence at the Nyamwange technical training Centre. The course involves the use of beauty treatments and hair cutting and arrangement to enhance one’s physical appearance to others and ideally improve one’s own self-image.

The department offers level 3,2, and 1 respectively by NITA (National Industrial Training Authority). All the trainers in this department are well trained both in the area of trade and pedagogy. The training workshop is highly equipped with the latest equipment for training. Those who will succeed in this course will be employed as beauty therapists and hair dressers within the country and outside the country. A vast majority will employ themselves to run their salon businesses. Those who would like to enroll to this course are required to have minimum qualifications of a D plain and below
